Vintage Chic #1

Isn't this lovely?

Made for the first time the 10 minute, 3 seam block method (and will make this one again and again.) Once I found my rhythm it was a snap.  For my 10" blocks I cut 2 1/2" strips from the following vintage floral chic fabrics -- some in my stash, many I ordered from online stores --
Moda - Joanna Figueroa's Butterscotch Rose, Millhouse Inn, and Strawberry Fields
RJR Fabrics - Robyn Pandolph's Scarborough Fair
Moda - Pappilon, Parlor
Moda - 3 Sisters' Parlor, Aster Manor, Oasis, Simplicity, Martinque, and Aviary
Moda - Laundry Basket's Close to My Heart
Moda - Michael Miller's Tinsel Town (for some of the backing)

The center solid block that looks like a cathedral window (without the headache) was Moda Cream.

Will post more pics and more details on this technique later.  Need to go make 2 more!

Ok, I will take pics and post the technique soon. Google 10-Minute Block, there are some great you-tubes showing how to do it.
Of course, I love the vintage prints in this quilt. Is it ever hard to give your favorite quilts away?
