Thank goodness they are 6.5" blocks!

14 rows x 7 columns.  
Thank goodness they are big HSTs... 98 is enough for me.

I marvel at 1.5"x1.5" quilts (bless you Bonnie Hunter and Supergoof Quilts.)  
I marvel at some of the minis I have made 
(hallelujah for Carol Doak paper piecing patterns and software) 
but I am sooo very happy for big block quilts.  
They have a 
righteous place in my creative life.

This is the 2nd chevron bunk quilt for grandsons!  Ruggedly cute.

Simple masking tape identifying tags; ex: 14C,  14D,
placed where a hot iron will not touch as I press open the seams.

Love how the chevrons are colour coordinated by rows. The end-on view looks random and from the side, orderly. I like the effect.
