Northcutt's Tip of the Month

Tip of the Month

The height of a regular table is too low for most quilting tasks especially cutting. Save your back by increasing the table height with a set of inexpensive furniture risers. Putting a set of furniture risers under a banquet style table becomes a very inexpensive and fairly portable work surface. Next time you're out at a workshop or sew-along, take a set of these furniture risers with you and you'll be the star of the workshop!

Yes, this works great! I am so tall that I have to use these plus some pvc pipe to raise my cutting table high enough. Bending over while cutting can hurt your back.
